My stay in hospital was a short one, of two nights, for re-hydration so all I can say is it was adequate.
The staff performed their jobs efficiently. I am 89 years old and have been in hospitals for longer stays over the years so I could see how a lot of the old formality and stiffness of the old regime has been replaced by informality. I feel more could be achieved along these lines especially on advice for aftercare.
I am fortunate in having a loving family but I see others going home maybe to isolation so does the NHS stretch to aftercare and advice on how to get it?
