"I feel totally helpless"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was urgently referred for stomach surgery  with my pre-operative assessment taking place a week later. My surgery was booked for a month later, which was already quite disappointing as I'm very unwell, unable to keep food down and have lost three stone in as many months.

Before Christmas I got a letter cancelling my surgery with a new date. I've had another letter cancelling my surgery. I don't know how much longer I can last. I've fainted at home due to lack of food intake, I wake up in the night to be sick and with acid reflux choking me.

I now weigh less than 7 stone and am seriously concerned do about my health. I feel totally helpless.
