What I liked

I was admitted to Accident and Emergency where staff where helpful and I was treated with care, kindness and respect. I was then admitted to Sparthfield Ward where all nursing staff where kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them even though they never seemed to stop tending to patients. They asked if you where doing Ok at every oppertunity. Team work was definately working well.

The food was good and even though I went as an emergency patient and had not been able to request my meal the choice offered was very good.

The cleanliness of the ward was first class and it was clear that the Domestic Assistants worked well with the nursing team.

Anything else?

I would like to thank all staff on the A&E department and the manager and all staff on Sparthfield Ward for their care and kindness. Going into hospital as an emergency patient is traumatic but they made me feel safe and cared for.
