What I liked

I do not like anything about the Pilgrim. My Mother Mrs D.Farr was taken from her house at 20:00hrs on 5th February 2010 by ambulance to the Pilgrim, suffering with Cdiff.

She later died at 23:50hrs [which we were told some weeks later].On the Saturday morning no one could tell us this, we were told different times and the reason for her death.

The staff of this hospital have not told us anything about her death.We have phoned them numerous times only to be told someone would ring us back. But they never do. My sister even wrote to the Chief Adminstrator for answers. Guess what letter not answered?

If you or your family go to this place then remove all your jewlery. Our mum died and her Gold cross and chain went missing by the time we saw her in their chapel of rest the following morning.

We also do not know where she was between 20:00hrs and 23:15hrs the time the coroner has said she was admitted to the A & E in her report.

What could be improved

Give all the info to the bereaved family, return their calls and answer letter's. Also follow up complaints when told jewlery is stolen?

Anything else?

Some one in this hospital know who is stealing from the sick and dying.
