About: Darlington Memorial Hospital / General medicine

My mother who is 85 was admitted on 28th Dec. She was extremely ill . She was initially treated in casualty, her nurse was exceptional. Putting her at ease and reassuring her. After her initial assessment she was treated on ward 52 . I cannot praise the staff on that ward too highly. They are hard working , caring , compassionate people who do an amazing job. Mum was treated with dignity respect and care. Watching them dealing with more challenging patients was humbling . Thanks to them all
