"Amazing response from call handler, paramedics, nurses and doctors"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I required an emergency ambulance. The crew were superb and reassured me. On arrival at Hairmyres A and E I received a first class service from the night shift - the sister was very patient and caring even though she must have been exhausted at the end of her shift. The day shift duty doctor Laura was professional and rapidly got blood tests etc underway. She even found me a sandwich! Thank you so much to Lanarkshire emergency services.

Dear Coach

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience. The staff will be delighted to read that you felt you received first class service. I will ensure your comments are shared with the wider team and in particular doctor Laura. An emergency attendance can be a stressful event and I am therefore reassured to read that staff were professional and caring.

Thank you again for your kind comments.

I hope you are recovering well.

Best Wishes

Lise
