"Very efficient, but still very friendly service"

I underwent total knee replacement operation just before Christmas. From entering the hospital to leaving it three days later the whole organisation has shown a remarkable efficiency in care, without losing it humanity. Throughout the whole process I felt to be cared for by professional staff - from surgeon to nurses, pharmacists, porters, receptionists, physio therapist and cleaners. The atmosphere between the staff is friendly, which carries throughout the hospital. It would be wrong to highlight one individual as outstanding since the entire hospital is carried by the team, which makes the hospital outstanding.

Many thanks for the lovely feedback following your recent knee replacement here at Barlborough.

We are very proud of the work we do and emphasise a great deal on team work.

Every member of staff plays an important role in the recovery and wellbeing of our patients, whether it be the Surgeon or the tea lady!

It's nice when this is recognised so thank you.
