"Not impressed with Warrington Hospital A & E "

I had a cut in my hand while washing the car. It was a deep cut, 4mm deep, and blood was not stopping. I tried to change 2 bandages at home but still not stopped so I went to hospital emergency.

The lady there asked us to take a ticket and wait. We were waiting for 45 min and nobody turned up so my wife asked at reception how long it will take.

She said she don't know & we don't have anybody in, that was her answer - sitting in the emergency dept of a hospital.

After 15 min nurse came. She gave me napkins to clean and refer to minor injuries dept because there was no doctor in there. We were again asked to wait for 1 hour and then the nurse refused to give me tetanus injection thanks to NHS saving policy.

During that 1 hour waiting outside there were two other patients waiting. One lady had broken her nose and blood was constantly coming out & other patient banged her head and crying there, but no one was there to listen to us.

So whenever you go there don't expect much from them. Best of Luck.
