What I liked

I was on ward 4 having a cancer operation. The ward was very clean,and tidy at all times. All the staff ,doctors, nurses, student nurses, cleaners and clerical staff were always very friendly and helpful. Any questions that I had were answered quickly and clearly, and if I did not understand something it was explained to me in an easy to understand way. Despite the fact that I was a patient for 3 weeks I have also had to have continuing appointments at outpatients clinics, dressings clinics and oncology and all the staff in these areas were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hospital if you need to have cause to be a patient.

What could be improved

When I was in the weather was very hot and there were not enough fans or electric sockets to cool us down.

Anything else?

I would rate my stay at 98%. but only because of the heat.
