"I was admitted to Fairfax Ward ..."

About: Warwick Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted to Fairfax Ward for the second time in eight months in May 2010. Once again, I experienced the total dedication to patient care that, to me, has become the hallmark of what the staff do on the ward. They are a group of highly skilled and talented individuals whose ability to work as a team is tremendous. I have said for a long time that nursing is a vocation and it takes a particular type of person to rise to the challenges it presents. They seem to take on all manner of things that to others outside the profession would be above and beyond the call of duty and they do it without batting an eyelid or shrinking away. They are all a credit to their profession generally and to Warwick Hospital specifically.
