What I liked

The staff seemed to know what they were doing and kept us informed at each step.

What could be improved

The hospital was filthy. My son has been in and out of maidstone hospital,kent & canterbury, pembury and pembury was vile. Used iud bag in windowsil,used bin bag thrown in corner of room.dried blood on bedside unit- i managed to wipe of with babywipes.Dust smothered windowsils,hole in fabrric chair.6 lids of drip bags scattered over floor in various places. This all in the room my son had in tiger ward.We were on the ward from 1am - 4pm not once did i witness a cleaner.at maidstone when we have been in cleaners have regulary come in 2 or 3 times to mop floors change bins etc

Anything else?

my son was playing with toy cars one car went under the bed so he crawled after it putting his hand under the bed , his hand came out with large clumps of dust attached.

I have taken photos of the iud bag and bin bag, unfortunalty the pictures of the drip lids and dust didnt come out on my mobile phone.
