"I accompanied my 89 year old father ..."

About: Bensham Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

I accompanied my 89 year old father to the hospital yesterday for him to receive minor treatment and dressing to a wound on his hand. i was very impressed with the service overall and the fact that he was triaged within 15-20 mins as indicated and was then swiftly treated thereafter. He received advice about coming back for the dressing to be changed, and arrangements made for the same nurse to see him. He was very re-assured and was treated utterly courteously and respectfully.

I would like my thanks passed on to the staff involved.

What could be improved

Nothing!

Anything else?

the idea of a 'drop in centre' seems such a sensible and pragmatic arrangement. i have not come across such a facility before and think the NHS should publicise their whereabouts more.

Thank you.
