We would like to thank you for taking the time to give feedback about your experience in Conifer House, we will pass this on to the staff. We are pleased to hear that you consider the staff here as a positive aspect of your visit.

We are sorry to hear that the waiting area and the waiting times did not meet your expectations.

We are aware that, due to the physical limitations of the building, the waiting area may not be an adequate size for the service and the amount of people who access it.

As we are primarily a walk-in service it is difficult to predict how many people will come in each day and, therefore, we are unable to predict waiting times. However, we are doing everything we can to keep all waiting times to a minimum for example,the use of a self triage form which helps to direct clients to the most appropriate member of staff, support staff are trained to pregnancy tests and condom distribution and there is a biometric condom machine situated on the second floor where anyone registered for the scheme is able to access condoms.

Thank you for your suggestion to inform the service users about waiting times. There is a whiteboard within the third and fourth floor waiting areas on which approximate waiting times should be written and we will ensure that these will be utilised to give more information. Our reception staff also advise when a clinic at Conifer House is busy and, if appropriate, direct users to other services in the area.
