I've struggled with OCD and intrusive thoughts for years now. I've had CBT in the past but didn't feel like I really got it. This time around I feel like I've got a much better grip on it. We started by doing a hierarchy of thoughts and triggers and faced each one from the bottom; rating my anxiety during and after exposure which helped to show that the anxiety dropped. The service was good and much better then I expected, and Emma was great. CBT last time did not work and I had to re-refer with the same problem. But this time seeing my anxiety drop after exposure gave me confidence to continue with the work. I liked been seen regularly and been able to attend appointments within my lunch hour.
