This is a simply a thank you to my consultant psychiatrist for his consistent care and support over 8 years. As a person with Bipolar Disorder who has been sectioned under the mental health act several times I have a somewhat ambivalent attitude to how society treats people like me in general.
That notwithstanding I can honestly say that my psychiatrist has always treated me with dignity and respect. He has a reputation amongst patients and carers alike for his wonderful attitude and approach to those under his care.
He is an exemplary professional and I feel sure my journey would have been far harder without his support.
