"Out of Hours Service"

About: Norwich Community Hospital

I phoned 111 at 10.00 on a Saturday morning and was advised that the out of hours GP system would be in contact to offer me an appointment. I was given an appointment for 22.00 the same day. I turned up at 21.45, waited for almost half an hour and asked at the desk. I was told that they were running at least an hour late.What is the point of having an appointment system when it is running so late and the person behind the desk has no idea what the problem is.I went home without seeing anyone.
