"I arrived at A&E by ambulance in great pain."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

I can not praise the paramedics, nurses, doctors and other staff too highly. Although

I was feeling so ill and mophine made very nauseous, I was always aware of well I was being looked after.

While very modern procedures were used, what I can only call old fashioned care was so very apparent.

Later I was able to go home with medication but advised I would soon be advised of an appointment to see a consultant. Well three days later it arrived.

So take a bow and thank you. Sandra

Sandra, thank you for your review. We are very proud of our Emergency Department staff and glad that they were able to put you at ease during your visit. The team always do appreciate hearing back from their patients, and I have shared your encouraging words with our manager for Emergency Care who will make sure it reaches them. I have also shared your review with the North East Ambulance Service, whose paramedics will also appreciate your review. We wish you a speedy recovery.
