"I received first class care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

The care I received was first class. My wrist was fractured due to a fall and everyone that dealt with me was careful and respectful, the paramedics who took me to hospital and the nurses and doctors who treated me.

Cleanliness was obvious through out, toilets, fracture clinic and ward C5 where a short stay was needed, hand washing, the wearing of rubber gloves when dealing with patients.

Some waiting around was experienced but this was due to emergencies and numbers of people to be attended to.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback regarding your recent visit to A&E at Queens Medical Centre, especially at a difficult time having had a fall.

I am pleased that your experience was a positive one despite some waiting around, but as you have said this is often the case within an A&E department.

Wishing you a speedy recovery

Best wishes
