What I liked

It was the closest hospital to my home.

Nothing more is deserved of this hospital.

What could be improved

A lot.

Cleanliness is my main concern.

I'm not a sick person and hopefully will remain that way - however when you do have to use the facilities of a hospital you would expect somewhere, an environment where you could expect to receive a decent standard of care in a clean environment...Arrowe park hospital should be ashamed - I had to wait in the CDU ward for over 18 hours for what should have been a routine op. and from what I saw of it I never would go back.

Nurses run off their feet, not enough nursing staff and the elderly patients just left to rot. I'm a 32 year old male and what I saw was shameful.

While I'm thankful for the skills of the person who did my operation the remainder of the hospital was a complete shambles.

If you have a choice on where to go if on the Wirral - choose another hospital - maybe even go to Chester.

The NHS needs to seriously have a look at this place as there's a distinct lack of basic care being provided here...fortunately I was able to look after myself while here - but I echo some comments regarding the care given to elderly and pretty much most people in here.

A total lack of information was given by everyone who spoke to me on my visit and when I did get information it was inaccurate - I was misinformed several times during my visit - this ultimately resulted in me discharging myself the morning after my operation due to me feeling unsafe in this hospital.

NHS management please scrutinise this hospital - take on board the comments which people are saying here.

Don't announce your visit so the hospital can have a quick clean over the wards you visit - go there unannounced and visit random areas - conduct tests as they should be - speak to and interact with patients - get a real feel for the hospitals you are responsible for.
