What I liked

've just had my second total knee operation this year ,( the fiirst in Feb) In and out in 3 days.Ward B26 From the operating consultant , the anaesthetists, theatre staff ward staff, including auxiliaries, I received nothing but courtesy, consideration and consultancy on all aspects of my two operations. The hygiene standards were exceptionally high. I found my two 3-day stays on this ward could not be bettered. From the pre-op. assessment through to the after care follow up including the physio team, very well done Broomfield hospital, - 100% plus.

What could be improved

The only area of improvement - the dreadful car parking and charges structure. I do appreciate the difficulty of this whilst the re-building work is going on, There has to be more flexibility in calculating the charge, but hopefully, when all building work is complete, there will be more spaces.
