What I liked

I would like to praise all the staff at the Intensive Care unit. My father passed away on May 18th but he was made as comfortable as could be and my sister and I and our adult children were made to feel welcome at his bedside. We were given space and time when we needed it but always with the knowledge that experts were the other side of the curtains if we needed them. We are so grateful for this. Also, because we were not ushered away at any time and all our questions were answered, we felt we were able to do as much as possible to support our father at the very end of his life. Thank you all, including the reception staff who were sensitive and tolerant of us in the waiting room. I've seen West Mid change over the years and I am heartened that the level of care for my father and for us was excellent.
