"Not enough postage on my appointment letter"

About: Devon Access and Referral Team (DART)

(as the patient),

I received a letter from DART regarding an appointment, however they had not put enough postage on it.

It was fortunate that I was in at the time and I paid the remainder of the postage. If I had not been it would have not been delivered so I wanted to point this out as it may be that other patients are not receiving their letters because of lack of postage being paid.

Thank you very much for taking the time to let us know about this problem, as you say it will help us to try and stop it affecting other patients.

I’m terribly sorry about this inconvenience, and very relieved that you were in to receive the letter. I have passed the details on to the post office who frank our mail and have asked them to look into the matter which hopefully is just a one off.
