"Excellent Maternity Department"

Overall my experience with the maternity wards was fantastic. This includes the antenatal ward - where all the staff were very informative and helpful, the diabetic clinic within the antenatal department - who were invaluable for me personally, Pearl Ward staff who ensured I was comfortable during my induction of labour and provided an informative tour prior to my stay, the delivery suite staff who ensured a safe and minimal stress environment for delivering my baby and finally the staff on Kent Ward who ensured the new addition and I were well looked after when transferred after delivery. I cannot thank all of these departments enough for ensuring the health of both me and my newborn. The staff were all extremely helpful and made sure the both of us and my partner were given the best possible care throughout my pregnancy.
