"Nightmare in A & E"

About: The Great Western Hospital / Accident and emergency

If you are unfortunate enough to be transported to GWH A & E make sure someone goes with you.

How awful it is to be placed on a trolley in a queue and ignored for an hour.

And when you are finally seen to, you don't expect to be still awaiting blood test results 5 hours later.

Oh, and make sure you take a packed lunch and a flask or two.

This is a horrible place for an elderly patient to go to just to be neglected, dehydrated and half starved.

Management need to get their backsides into gear and provide proper nursing care.
