"nurses attitude very curt and ..."

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

(as the patient),

What could be improved

nurses attitude very curt and abrupt to the point of being offensive

Anything else?

attended a breast screening unit on 02/06/10, where the treatment of the screening was very rough to the point it was painful causing my breasts to redden and then to my horror they turned to a bruise. The nurse's attitude was very matter of fact. It is an every day job for them, but to me was very personnel, they made no attempt to put me at ease and they were extremely rough hence causing the redness and bruise. a trait in a nurse which is very un becoming, a course in sevility and patient care would help their blaize attitude.

We’re very sorry to hear that you had a poor experience at our breast screening unit earlier this month. We will take this matter up with colleagues in the unit. Thank you for taking time to leave a comment on NHS Choices.
