"Replacement hearing aid"

About: University Hospital Lewisham / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I unfortunately lost my hearing aid and have been unable to get through on the phone to audiology to get advice on how it can be replaced.

I wrote to PALS yesterday, I'm unsure of their timescales for responding. I hope it's soon.

I am sorry that you have been having problems getting through to Audiology. I have just spoken to a member of staff in the department and they have asked that you try to phone them again on 020 8333 3000 ext 8091 or 8092. They can get very busy at certain times of the day so please persevere if you do not get through first time.

kind regards

Update posted by MMlondon (the patient)

I have tried those extensions endlessly and no reply. I would like someone to call me please, I have already been without my hearing aid for two weeks and I could have ordered one and have it back by now.

I have also tried switchboard and the last call gave me the run around for 25 minutes. I have called 6 times today alone. I am very fed up.
