"A&E and DVT etc"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I went straight to A&E believing I had a blood clot rather than queue up and maybe get to see a GP who would refer me anyway. At A&E a doctor was very friendly and approachable and efficient and understanding. I had blood test and ultrasound scan and chest xray all in one morning. So came away with treatment for DVT. The waiting around was inevitable but to get it all done in a morning was fantastic. I think the doctor in DVT who was also very good. I didn't catch the name of the nurse in DVT (Decoagulation or whatever it was) but they were also excellent.

Russells Hall operated efficiently and generally kept me in mind.

Not in a rush to go to A&E again but confident that I will be treated well.

Thank you.
