I visited QA in August 2016 to have a ganglion cyst removed from my hand by the day surgery team. I was very nervous about this procedure as I do not like needles. The staff were incredibly supportive and reassuring. The operation was very fast and my surgeon was wonderful. I had a member of staff sitting next to me and talking to me the whole way through which really distracted me and kept me calm. The scarring has healed really well and I had a really positive experience which has helped me to prepare for the second operation that I will have in the next few months. The hospital staff were really understanding and were checking on everyone who was in the waiting room with me. They worked well as a team with effective communication to keep patients and proffessionals up-to-date with what was going on. I honestly couldn't fault them in any way and although having an operation is always unpleasant, it was one of the best hospital experiences I have ever had. Praise to all the staff who were involved!
"Really great staff and service"
