About: Burnley General Hospital / Cardiology

Very efficient friendly nurses had esg taken within 10minutes of arrival.cardiologist saw 5minutes later.explained further action examination of my chest they took notes.etc. my whole appointment was over within 1/2hour of my appointment time. Burnley general hospital is excellent. I have had a operation here in the past&a endoscopy.plus eye clinic appointments all my visits have been stress free. All staff are very efficient and friendly. On the down side I need to use ambulance transport that takes a long time to bring me home due to physical&mental health problems.anxiety due to having to wait.this does bring stress and panick attacks on to me.but Burnley hospital is excellent.

With regard to ambulance transport, this is not managed by East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust but by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
