"The whole ambience of the new ..."

What I liked

The whole ambience of the new oncology wing was that of security and comfort:- secure in the knowledge that everyone involved were personally looking after your issues, and comfort in that, most people involved seemed to care about what was going to happen next...whatever that may be.

What could be improved

We were left in a waiting area for about 3 hours after appt, time with no explanation of why the long delay...later informed that we missed being called for our appt. by error - not acceptable in the circumstances

Anything else?

Well, to be quite honest, i look back and wish that the specialist involved in our case had been more supportive, more compassionate and less blunt and brusque, but thats only my personal opinion.
