"Outstanding professionalism and care"

I wish to commend the professionalism and care of your staff in the oncology department. I was diagnosed with colon cancer a few months ago and underwent surgery at the beginning of the month. My consultant surgeon was superb, explaining everything in the most professional and considerate manner. The cancer support staff were equally as good, providing reassurance and support. The nursing staff in Epsom provided magnificent care in both the admission ward and particularly the High Dependancy Unit. The operation was successful and the aftercare has been wonderful particularly the enhanced recovery nurse. The whole experience was extremely positive and gave tremendous confidence for a successful outcome. The Trust obviously appoints quality staff who care about their patients. Thank you to all who were involved with my treatment and aftercare, you made difficult times a remarkable journey.
