About: Birmingham Women's Hospital / Gynaecology

Wow This hospital is the best I have ever been to and ive been to a few. I came here due to bleeding at 7 weeks pregnant. From the minute I walked in the friendly concerned staff was there to comfort and support me and my mum. The waiting time, we'll what waiting time even though i was late due to traffic, I was seen straight away and the nurse was lovely so caring and understanding and helpful. I was sent for a scan and informed all the way through what was going on, great communication through all the procedures between staff and my self and my mum, the sonographer was lovely, the dignity they gave me was really nice and explained every single thing. I unfortunately was loosing my baby and I was then taken to a quiet room where I was explained to about everything what was happening and what was going to happen, they did not rush they answered all questions and was so supportive, the after care offered was brilliant. I then got pain 4 days later that I couldn't cope with, my mum called them and they said come straight in, again lovely on the phone and was seen straight away.

The nurses and other staff was lovely a procedure was needed and the care and compassion was lovely, the support, the reassurance I could not fault, again after care booked and they said I can call at any time if any further issues. This hospital is amazing I have never experienced so much care from nurses like these before in any other hospital.

I recommend this hospital to anyone who needs specific services that they provide. You are all amazing staff thankyou so much for you supported, care and compassion. Keep doing what your doing it makes a huge difference to people's lives at such an anxious and sad time in people's lives.
