"Maternity unit"

I can't thank the staff enough. We were looked after by some amazing doctors and midwives and an extremely skilled anaesthetist. They saved my life and my baby son's and I will never forget what they did. In theatre they worked seamlessly as a team and the support and encouragement offered to me during a difficult and complex birth deserves more of an accolade than I can give: they made it look easy but they must've been anxious and tired. Without you guys we would have been goners. Thank you also to the people who donated blood.
