"inguinal hernia repair"

after initially coming in as a day case for laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair i ended up having three visits to the operating theater spent 48 hours in the high dependency unit and have a four inch scar across my abdomen, i still do not know what went wrong all i was told was i had suffered from excessive bleeding, why i do not knot know. i still suffer pain and i have a loss of sensation on the right side of my groin area but i dare not seek medical advice after my one and only experience of being in hospital. some of the nursing care i received was unbelievably good and the food and accommodation was superb. but sadly i left the hospital in absolute agony clutching some paracetamol tablets and some iron tablets. never again will i set foot in any hospital unless i am dying, even then i may not.
