I had an abortion today at 9 weeks pregnant. This is something that has never happened before to me I was so terrified. I arrived at the clinic at 7:45am and was on the way home by 12:00pm. I will never forget the first nurse I met. They were amazing, I got so upset on my first consultation and just cried to them, they reassured me,

I felt like had known them forever. I went on through to another consultation to sign forms, again another lovely nurse. Finally taken upstairs to wait for the procedure. I had a surgical abortion with a sedation. I was so terrified but the doctors and nurses were amazing, one stroked and held my hand whilst I was being sedated, before I knew it I was awake and surrounded by more lovely nurses who fussed around giving me juice, biscuits and a heat pack. Honestly believe this is one of the worst situations for anyone to be in, but Marie Stopes at Buckhurst Hill is such an amazing place, and it was made to be the best experience it could of been for me. Thank you! xxx

I am sorry this was not responded to at the time of your visit but unfortunately, we did not have access to this site at that time. Thank you for your fantastic comments and I even though time has gone by the staff will be over the moon to read this.
