Both my husband and I have this disease and have been treated by the team for many years. Their care and commitment is outstanding. We are greeted as old friends, even having our appointments at the same time to save a double journey. We were both in pain and rang the direct access number on a Thursday. We were both given appointments for the next day. I don't think you would get an appointment that quickly if you went private.The Rheumatology department is an excellent department.
