From arriving at the Day Surgery Unit 2 at 7am I was greated wilh a smile and a laugh. After a short spell in the waiting room I was wisked off into the day ward to be greeted by the nurse who introduced themselves and informed me that they were my nurse during my visit and to ask for any information. After a short wait I was visited by SpR doctor who explained the operation proceedure and risks and I signed consent forms. After wait of an hour on the special bed I was on my way to the Surgery pushed a very cheerful Porter then left in the hands of two nurses who prepared me for the operation. I woke from the operation in recovery ward to be greeted by nurse who on making sure that everything was ok, took me back to the day ward. I was then asked by my nurse how I felt and after making sure I was fine, offered me a choice of sandwhichs and biscuits and a beverage with ample water on the beside table, after a short while I was seen by the surgeon who exlained the post operation requirements, In every respect I can honestly say, that I recieved top class service from Frimley Park Hospital
"Great all round service"
