I arrived at 9:45am and was triaged immediately, the nurse was brilliant who saw me and then I was passed to the doctor as an emergency case. Iwas seen quickly by the doctor who gave me dilating drops and asked me to take a seat outside, it wasn't that long before I was discharged with a prescription. Total time 1 hr 30 mins which is great - this was ruined by your slow pharmacy who told me it would be 35 minutes to get my prescription ready. There were 4 staff in the pharmacy why does it take so long. I did notice that whilst waiting for the 2nd time to see the doctor that they had around 8 to 10 people waiting for the their prescriptions. They seemed to call all of these out all at once, why do that do that? Your pharmacy is the most inefficient I have ever seen and also why do they close for lunch have you never heard of a lunch rota? If I thought that my local pharmacy would stock the drops I need I would not use your pharmacy as it needs the service standards to improve massively. My experience with them some what overshadowed the good work that was done by your nurses and doctors..
