What I liked
The staff were friendly and helpful. The choice of food was good and the ward was very clean.
What could be improved
The communication between the ward and the specialists I'm sure if there was more communciation I would have felt less distressed and I would have not have felt like I was holding a bed up. Not being moved in the middle of the night to another ward because of a lack of beds. The ward had no toilets in had to walk down the corrider and no shower facilities. Someone on the day I left talking about patients in a loud voice like we were no-bodies asking a doctor when the beds would be ready for use. I also sat in the departure lounge for over 1 hour waiting for paperwork and medication
Anything else?
The care I have received since being at home has been brilliant. Especially from my doctor. They treat people with care and compassion and like you are the only one that matters.
