"Everything. From the moment of ..."

What I liked

Everything. From the moment of my arrival until my departure everything ran exceptionally smoothly. Within about an hour of arriving in the Arrivals Lounge I had been seen by a nurse, anesthetist and surgeon, who all conducted themselves in an exemplary fashion, expertly combining clinical rigour with friendliness.

My operation was performed to a very high standard and during the subsequent observation period the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, making regular checks and seemingly always asking whether there was anything they could do for me.

Standards of cleanliness were very high in all of the areas of the building where I spent time.

The professionalism and compassion exhibited by all the staff with whom I came into contact was truly inspirational.

What could be improved

Perhaps it would be beneficial for the Arrivals Lounge to have some natural light, (I imagine this will change with the opening of the new building in the summer?) but this really is only a very minor thing which did not really detract from a very positive experience.
