Left the doctor at 9:45am recieved a form for a blood test, had an appointments tel. no 0208 970 8007, started calling at 09:50am on THREE mobile phones plus ONE landline, constantly engaged until now, I have had time to make a cup of coffee, check the DNA result on jeremy kyle , write a complaint email and fill in this feedback, and all FOUR channels to this number ; 0208 970 8007 is engaged, but wait I then call another Haematolgy number and I am told that it can take 2 HOURS to make an appointment, i then call PALs compliants, answermachine tells you to leave your name , birthdate and breif message, THEN CUTS YOU OFF BEFORE YOU LEAVE MESSAGE, so how to I make a compliant about PAL compliants ??? ok lets go back to the 3 mobiles, yep all engaged, oh and the landline .. engaged. I work in Customer Services and I dont think it would be too difficult to work out that you need some more staff manning this telephone line, if it busy on certain days then get temp staff in for those day, you are a service provider so as least have some management in the service you provide, lets go back to the phone lines: yep all engaged, oh and the landline .. engaged.

What could be improved

More staff on phone lines. Going to make another cup of tea and re-dial on the 3 mobiles and 1 landline, you might laugh but i have won many competitions this way, i am just having problems winning a blood appointment.
