"Appalling"

Having experienced for the first time, the care within this unit, I must echo the previous reviews. This unit has the potential to care for and help people suffering from acute stress. However it appears to be staffed by healthcare 'professionals' who clearly work there for the monthly salary and nothing else. The nurse in charge, was an utter disgrace in their treatment of my family member. The nurse behaved with contempt and sheer disgusting manners towards upset family members. the nurse was dismissive and abrupt, seeming to want to wash their hands of the patient and caring not one jot about the consequences of such poor care. Why such a person is a nurse is beyond me. A formal complaint against this person will be followed up to prevent other people being treated in this way at such a vulnerable time in their lives.
