What I liked

One of my relatives is currently a patient in this hospital which is very poorly run. In the past appointments have been missed and when a follow up appointment is due they never contact you. The health of the patient does not appear to be important to them.

What could be improved

Management - no one seems to take responsibility for their work and staff often have a poor attitude. Cleanliness - rubbish is often left lying around for many days. Respect towards the patient - there are far too many agency staff who do not seem to care about patient welfare although in my experience the full time staff are no better.

Anything else?

The hospital is poorly managed and most staff show very little respect towards the patients. It often takes ages to get past the switchboard and then extensions in the ward ring with no one answering. Procedures are often not followed. For example, they failed to check with my relative's GP what prescription medicines they were receiving. This meant that important treatment was missed for several days.
