I went to the Silverthorn clinic in Waltham Forest to collect batteries for my hearing aid. I was made to feel very uncomfortable by the attitude and response to my request by the staff member I spoke with on reception.
The staff member on reception treated my response as if I was personally trying to get something I was not entitled to. They complained that they had very few batteries before they had even seen my record book. They eventually gave me one saying that they only had two left, and gave me the impression that I was depriving them of something.
The manner and attitude throughout made me feel very uncomfortable and annoyed.
