(as a relative),

My Dad was recently admitted into Ward 10 under the care of Dr Gallagher and treated for a pneumonia. My Dad has suffered with M. S for the best part of 40 years, as a result of this he has had many admissions over the past six months due to the progression of his condition.

Sadly my Dad passed away surrounded by his family. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for the care given to my Dad during the last few weeks of his life. Every member of the multi disciplinary team from Doctors, to the domestics, treated my Dad with the upmost respect and dignity, and as a family we will be forever grateful.

So again a big thank you to ward 10 and NHS Lanarkshire for such wonderful care and compassion shown to my Dad in the last weeks of his life.

Thank you for taking the time to pass on your thanks for the care your father received whilst an inpatient here at Wishaw General Hospital within Ward 10, at what must have been a very difficult time for you and your family. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

Your positive comments are very welcome, and I will ensure they are fed back to the staff who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard, as well as being compassionate to the needs of our patients.

It is very reassuring to read your story I have no doubt the staff will be delighted for the feedback.
