"Unacceptable waiting time for a bed"

I stayed in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital on J2, there was a query with my Gall Stones. The nurses work very hard and I really appreciated what the staff did on the Emergency Admissions ward and also on ward J2.

The problem was that I waited quite a long time to see a doctor and was upset at the fact that I had to wait for 8 hours for a bed, especially as I was in pain. I wanted to lie down and in the Emergency Admissions department, there was no T.V. to try and take your mind off of the pain. I had to sit in a chair for 8 hours which was very uncomfortable.
