i was diagnosed with bowel cancer in march. i chose to have my treatment at chesterfield royal i am so glad i did. my journey from diagnosis to surgery was first class.my first appointment was on 13th march and my surgery was on the 27th april. the colorectal team are one in a million. i was kept informed of all decisions and that everything was my choice.after my surgery my stay on stavely ward was the same i was made to feel at home.as my treatment is ongoing at the moment i feel safe and confident in your care.

My husband, my family and myself thank the Consultant and staff on endoscopy suite and all staff on stavely ward, from the bottom of our hearts. Be proud of yourselves you deliver a first class service, and to the management of chesterfield royal be proud of your team they help to put your hospital in a top class position.
