My mother was brought into your care via a ambulance to a&extra with vomiting not knowing who she was and is diabetic.the ambulance service didn't know what to do and thought it was just and water infection. When she got into a&e they rushed about for my mother and she started fitting they referred her to resuscitation where they done lots of tests cathetarised her and put her on a breathing machine and referred her to critical care. I couldn't fault the care for what my mother had and turns out she had pheunomonial meningitis and septicaemia the one doctor who was the best was in critical care and made us feel safe and secure and also cared for my mother to the best of their abilities and visited them after their shift so they weren't alone while they were in a coma. They were in your care for 4 weeks in critical care before moving to ward 24 which was a joke they were under staffed and with my mother being disabled my sister was the one to take her to the toilet and shower her because they were rushed off their feet however I couldn't ask for better doctors and consultants in critical care to care for my mother during this experience however the ambulance people were on their phones whilst trying to talk to my mother who was barely conscious at home. Thankyou critical care for what you done and thanks to you my mother has made a full recovery appart from bells paulsy and is still with us today
