I would like to say a big thank you to Birmingham womens hospital for bring my daughter into the world safe and sound. I was amazed how efficient and caring this hospital is, as i lost my first daughter a year ago previous at another hospital. She died just after she was born after being in labour for days and then being starved of oxygen. (a very long story)
I had lost my faith in the NHS until i went to BWH, all the staff here are wonderful and caring people. Who look after you as a human and not a number on a escalator.
Whilst i was due to have my daughter they reassured me and made me feel so much at ease. And my little girl was delivered by c section safe and sound which was a totally different experience from the first time.
It is a shame there are few of these types of hospitals about.
I take my hat off to all the staff at Birmingham womens hospital.
