"I liked that the hospital is local ..."

About: North Middlesex Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I liked that the hospital is local to where I live as I've been attending for x-rays, A&E, CT scan, blood tests and chest clinic as an outpatient for the last five months.

What could be improved

Waiting time seems to be at least an hour no matter what department or service you go for. At least two hours for A&E in a room which doesn't seem to have any heating in winter - too cold!

Anything else?

I'm very satisfied with all the treatment I have received. My only slight criticism would be that it took longer than maybe it should have - five months. Some of the tests and appointments could have been better co-ordinated (e.g., I've lost count of the number of blood tests I've had - why not just do all the tests in one go?). Also had two follow-up outpatient appointments at the same clinic on two consecutive days following surgery. Would have been nice to have had them scheduled for the same day!
